“flexFX” is a personal attempt to improve ergonomics for tabletop effect units. The goal is to have the user interface (knobs) angled towards the user, while maintaining a slim and compact profile.

a custom-designed FPC (flexible printed circuit) is implemented to achieve this feature. Combined with 3D-printed TPU, flexFX is able to bend and lock in to a certain angle when in use; and return to flat otherwise.

“flexFX” is based on the classic “Klon Centaur” transparent overdrive circuit.
